Last week we were lucky enough to have a visit from a dairy farmer. He told us all about different types of dairy farms and showed us the machines and types of milking sheds we have in NZ. After he had talked to us we had two ladies from Fonterra tell us a little more about the milk that comes from the dairy cows. We were lucky enough to try some of the milk that is produced for the milk in schools programme. Boy did we really enjoy it!
