Happy Hour is fun for all...

Today we had Happy Hour and a guest. Benny came for a nap and lasted for around 2 hours while the class rampaged and had fun all around him! We admire his ability to snooze...

Our last day of swimming

Today is our last day of swimming and we would like to thank Wayne and his team (Vanessa) for helping us to become more water safety conscious and confident in and around the pool. We have all improved since the start of the year and even those of us who were a little nervous now love to get in and have a great time! 

So thank you Wayne and we can't wait to see you next year.... yeah baby yeah!

After our amazing assembly last week we were lucky enough to get a class photo with Mrs Weet-Bix herself. Our wonderful friend Wayne Martin took this for us and we would like to thank him for such a cool shot of us all.

We had an art lesson yesterday with an artist from Graham Braddock's amazing team. We learnt how to think about and draw things that are closer to us and what they look like further away. We looked at where the light was coming from and added in shadows. We ended up with pictures of rock pools that look pretty cool! What do you think?

Botany Kids are Kiwi Kids

Our recent assembly was all over a small brown breakfast cereal that helped us to win $5,000! 

Weet-Bix is the cereal we are talking about and we paid homage to an early TV ad by recreating it, with Botany flair that is!! Have a look and see what you think :-)
